Dubai -TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PROVIDE QUALITY FOOD AND BEVERAGES IN ROOM SERVICE TO MAXIMISE GUEST SATISFACTION AND PROFITABILITY Provides high quality service and products to room service guests while adhering to cost constraints Ensures that guest orders are taken care of promptly Approves credit charges to room folios Maintains clean and orderly work area in accordance with the hotel’s and corporate standards Monitors cleanliness of hallways; ensures that guests are relieved of dirty dishes promptly Make requisitions of room service supplies Handles guest complaints tactfully Follows all hotel and corporate guidelines regarding garnishing, seasoning, portion size, cutlery and set up of trays/tables Assists in establishing menus; co-ordinates service for special functions Develops and sells special promotions as required or requested Actively pushes high profit food and beverage items if given the possibility Provides service in guest room if requested Keeps FF&E, silver, glass, porcelain etc. clean and in good working order Ensures readiness and compliance among all staff LAWS, REGULATIONS AND POLICIES Follows all applicable laws, especially in regards to food safety and sanitation, and alcohol regulations HEALTH AND SAFETY Reports all potential and real hazards immediately Fully understands the hotel’s fire, emergency, and bomb procedures Ensures that emergency procedures are enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees Works in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and either corrects them or takes action to prevent them from happening Maintains the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct MISCELLANEOUS Works pro-actively to minimize complaints from guests Stays abreast of applicable liquor laws, hotel rules and limitations Checks that all food and beverage sales is registered and paid for appropriately Checks rooming and arrival lists to be aware of VIP guests, and uses guest names when appropriate Attends meetings and training required by the Food & Beverage Manager Accepts flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to hotel guests Maintains own working area, materials and company property clean, tidy and in good shape; reports defective materials and equipment to Food & Beverage Manager Continuously seeks to Endeavour and improve knowledge of own job function Is well updated on, and possesses solid knowledge of the following: o Hotel fire, bomb and emergency procedures o Hotel health and safety policies and procedures o Hotel facilities and nearby sights of interest and importance (i.e. hospitals, o stations, tourist sights) o Current alcohol and liquor licensing o Accepted methods of payment by the hotel o Hotel and corporate marketing and promotional programs o Corporate clients, returning guests, and guests generating high business o volume o Union agreements INDFOH

Dubai -Provide general care to patients on hospital wards and in outpatient clinics. Assist the Consultant in investigating, diagnosing and treating medically or surgically all patients referred to his specialty. Participates in teaching programs in the Department and its sections, regular seminars, promotes clinical investigative work. Participate in peer review, quality-related activities, and other clinical/administrative meetings when deemed necessary by the head of the department and the hospital administration. Involve in the departmental and hospital-wide performance monitoring & Improvement activities. Keeps current with new procedures and techniques in the field of his specialty. Promoting health education through providing education and support for all junior staff in the department and supports continuing medical education. Undertaking managerial responsibilities such as planning the workload and staffing of the department. Maintain the highest professional standard of conduct in line with organization’s policies and procedures and internationally accepted standards. Participates in committees and taskforces, if assigned.
