Dubai -ContractDesignation Accountant Officer Company Multinational Rail Transport Company with office in Dubai - Start Date (Upon Successful Interview) 2 Weeks max Duration of Assignment 9 months Work location Dubai -, United Arab Emirates Type of Job Contract Hire (contracted through MPH to work for the company) Work Schedule 6 days/week, 10 hours per day. Status Single Plane tickets Mobilization and Demobilization tickets for the consultant will be provided. Visa UAE Residence visa and Work Permit will be provided for the consultant. Medical insurance International premium medical and repatriation insurance will be provided to the consultant. 1 TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.1 General Overall responsibility for all accounting routines, closings, compliance with COMPANY guidelines Accounting, Control and Procedures 1.2 Accounting Maintain Chart of Accounts General ledger (booking and review) Accounts Payable and Staff Expenses sheet checking and entering to system Receiving Supplier invoices and checking with PR, PO and GRN Ensuring payable aging to facilitate on time payment. Ensuring all Accounts Schedules/Reconciliation’s are up to date 1.3 Treasury Liaison with banks, treasury centers and financial institutions Foreign exchange planning and monitoring of FX deals Review and follow up accounts receivable Handling Bank Guarantees (reconcile with banks and update COMPANY database) 1.4 Audit & Tax Liaison with Internal and External Auditors Co-ordination - Internal and External Audits Supporting of Tax queries 2 ENVIRONMENT 2.1 Superior Function Senior Accountant 2.2 Parallel Positions All direct Reports to Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant 2.3 Subordinated Functions None 2.4 Interfaces Director Finance, Project Controlling, Reporting, Work Package Owners 3 PROFILE REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Education, Training University Degree (M.
