This is a new project with the Ministry of Education in the UAE. It is a project aimed at increasing the quality of teaching in the public owned state schools (typically Grades 8 to 12).2. The monthly salary is AED16,000. This is tax free, but you will have to pay for everything out of this total i.e. rent, transportation, life insurance. Monthly accommodation costs vary – typically between AED3,000-8,000 for a one bed apartment, less if you share. You are supported in finding your own accommodation, and the cost of this will depend on your lifestyle choices (villa vs apartment, location etc.). The remaining salary compares very well to the majority of international schools.3. You will receive free flights at the start and end of your contract which will be two years with the possibility of renewal. You will also have visa and initial medical costs paid, as well as medical insurance cover for you, your spouse (if applicable).
