Dubai -Develop/Modify/Maintain/Enhance internally developed applications to match business processes and requirements Analyze business requirements to ensure applications would be developed accordingly Ensures compliance with enterprise architecture rules Plan development activities and respect timing estimations for completion Works with stakeholders and functional areas to analyze business requirements Essential (must have or will not be considered): Demonstrates interpersonal skills required to successfully work in a team environment and communicates effectively across a variety of stakeholder groups At least 5 years programming/development experience in .NET 3.0/4.0, C#, Entity Framework, HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012, and the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, particularly SSIS Expertise building secure web and RESTful APIs using WCF, OData, JSON framework Experience in Visual Studio 2013 & above and Configuration Management tools such as TFS, Subversion or GitHub Experience using Backbone.js, Bootstrap, Angular JS, understanding of Lambda functions, LINQ queries Familiarity with data interface, data extract and data analysis functionalities Job Requirements Experience developing in or interfacing with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX Direct quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test plans and managing the execution of testing (Unit and UAT) Ability to identify opportunities and transform them into quantifiable and achievable initiatives Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual who is able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance and direction Must be able to continuously learn new skills to keep abreast of industry trends and state of the art technology Must be able to effectively prioritize and assign work in order to meet deadlines Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of an organization Experience in defining detailed business requirements to support projects Must possess proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio) Knowledge of cloud computing technology and systems (Salesforce, Google, Office365) will be a plus B.E/B.Tech degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field Knowledge of other programming systems Knowledge of mobile programming (IOS/Android/Windows) Must possess knowledge of mobile technology (IOS, Android, Windows Mobile) Business operations or business data experience with Inventory (supply chain, logistics, warehousing), Finance, Sales, Retail, and/or CRM Experience debugging applications written in VB.NET. Experience working closely with business users in one or more of these business domains: finance, supply chain and logistics, sales, retail Experience with BI reporting tools, preferably Tableau or Power BI Experience developing applications in SharePoint 2013
