Dubai -PermanentOverview Roles and Responsibilities Business Development: Directors shall be significantly involved in business development – lead generation till closure Expected to possess and build considerable client relationships, which could lead to business opportunities Responsible for generating an agreed amount of revenue for the year Proactively report sales opportunities during projects, these would include identifying possible business opportunities for various practices within the company Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge Ability to assimilate new knowledge Project Related: Responsible for project execution and shall report to Partner(s) on every project Directors are expected to lead 3-6 large projects at any time, they shall have teams reporting to them at a project level Responsible for ensuring project profitability, quality as well as adherence to the agreed project plan Assist Partners in managing risks associated with the projects Thought Leadership: Contribute to solution development and possess good business acumen Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge Expected to be part of industry forums Participate in practice initiatives and at times lead such initiatives such as knowledge management or thought leadership People Related: Expected to be a people leader for your department/geography and to also manage a team in terms of staffing, appraisals etc. Responsible for coordinating in developing the practice (people / clients and skills) Performance Manager for junior staff and should be actively involved in training, coaching and mentoring your team For more information, please contact: Patrick McAleer, Associate Director +44 (0) 203 86 79 866 Qualifications required: Fellowship member of an internationally recognised actuarial professional body 12+ years relevant experience Experience required: Expert knowledge of IFS 17 (Solvency II knowledge would be beneficial) A proven track record on large scale projects, focusing on implementation of IFRS 17 In depth knowledge in some of the following areas: Finance/ capital reporting, regulatory changes such as risk-based capital and IFRS, enterprise risk management or economic capital Prior experience in client facing / account management roles Knowledge of relevant existing business processes and insurance accounting closing process Knowledge of the design of data, technology and business solutions to meet client issues and challenges (would be beneficial) Knowledge of Prophet, SAS, Aptitude would be an asset Support Partners to create business development and sales opportunities for the firm Exposure to business development in consulting Other Skills Strong client management skills with ability to develop and maintain a productive working relationship with client personnel Strong display of leadership skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Dubai -Play Your Part In this role you are assiting Culinary Executive Sous Chef and Culinary Sous Chef, Culinary Chef De Partie to develop standard recipes which allow the kitchen department to operate at an acceptable cost.Assist Culinary Chef De Party to maximize colleague’s productivity in order to minimize payroll costs. Monitor operating costs and take corrective action when necessary to reduce expenses. Main Duties: Organize the section with regard to mise en-place production and its service Work closely with the Chef and execute direction as communicated following SOPS Responsible for completing the daily checklist regarding mise-en-place and food storage Together with his/her Chef de Partie write daily dry store, food requisitions and kitchen transfers on the appropriate forms for the approval of Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef in order to achieve the high stock rotation desired in his/her section Maintain good colleague relations and motivate while directing them through designated SOPs Supervises and assists in preparation and presentation of all food items. Ensures food is fresh and prepared in a timely fashion. Work to the specifications received by the Culinary Team regarding portion size, quantity and quality as laid out with recipes Attend meetings as requested by the Culinary Executive Chef /Culinary Executive Sous Chef Check the main information board regarding changes in any Banquets or other information regarding the organization Report any problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment to the Chef de Cuisine and to follow up and ensure necessary work has been carried out Pass all information to the next shift about functions, product levels or other related business needs Performing daily spot checks of all portioning tools and providing daily documentation and record keeping of product spoilage. Cooking duties and related functions as well as ensuring high food quality levels per motiongate standards. Maintaining a clean work area and ensuring compliance with the municipality HACCP Program. Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established DPR policies, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities Able to follow all Bollywood Park standards and HACCP guidelines.
