Dubai -Role Description – Corporate Responsibility and Inclusion Executive Location : Dubai -, United Arab Emirates The role Corporate Responsibility & Inclusion (CR&I) has been identified as one of the firm's key priorities. The firm's focus is on the need to ensure diversity throughout the firm, from entry level to partnership and to be a responsible sustainable global business. There is an expectation from our people and our clients to adopt a market leading approach. This role is based in Dubai - with a scope to support other regions i.e. Africa and APAC. The role is part of the Global Corporate Responsibility and Inclusion (CR&I) team who are based in the London office, reporting into Andy Dent, Global Head of Corporate Responsibility & Inclusion, Sara Khoja, and Wayne Jones - partners in Dubai -. The purpose of this role is to raise awareness of and to help co-ordinate the firm's global strategies and initiatives. It supports the development of the firm's Corporate Responsibility and Inclusion (CR&I) programme in MEA and APAC in our key areas: community, pro bono, diversity and inclusion and environment. Key responsibilities Assist with delivering the firm's CR&I strategy, policies and initiatives in the MEA and APAC region in conjunction with the Global CR&I strategy and priorities Be the firm's representative for CR&I activities and projects within MEA and APAC; Promote awareness of our firm's CR&I initiatives internally and externally and maintain the network of volunteers within the firm working on different CRI projects; Establish cooperative relationships with charity representatives and non-profit organisations, client teams and regulatory authorities; Chair and prepare for and attend the MENA Community Council meetings and similar groups in other regions, and facilitate communication between them and the difference project groups of volunteers; Contribute to Corporate Responsibility and Inclusion responses for pitches; Work with the Global CR&I team and local stakeholder to support the internal CR&I communication plan including newsletters and intranet content; Manage spend with regards to the CR&I annual budget for MEA and APAC; Work closely with the global CR&I team to communicate activity and identify areas for collaboration; Assist with producing award submissions; Work with our Business Development team to further develop a client program for the firm to engage with clients on CRI initiatives and strengthen clients relationships; and Represent the firm at external forums and events on behalf of the firm.
