Dubai -** Candidates who are immediately available are preferred.(a) Performs a full range of secretarial duties and assists the supervisor with a variety of clerical, technical and routine administrative duties; facilitates communications between the supervisor and staff and the public.(b) Reviews and proofs documents, records and forms for accuracy, completeness and conformance to applicable rules and regulations. Prepares and edits a variety of correspondence, memoranda, reports and other materials; composes routine correspondence.(c) Operates computer equipment for the preparation and maintenance of a variety of documents, correspondence, reports and related materials; utilizes word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheet, database or other software as required by the position.(d) Collects and compiles statistical and other information for inclusion into special and periodic reports. Prepares statements, summaries, reports and other such documents(e) Coordinates activities of assigned office between the supervisor and staff.(f) Receives, opens and distributes mail; receives visitors, arranges travel, schedules appointments, answers telephone calls and refers to appropriate staff members. Handles all telephone or counter enquiries from the employees or the public, and provides administrative assistance to supervisor and department staff.(g) Establishes and maintains positive staff and public relations.(h) Handles all filing and record keeping required for the department, including database management, data entry/retrieval and a variety of software applications used for general office and secretarial support. Makes photocopies and files as needed.(i) Orders office supplies.(j) Ensures that all faxes and correspondences are properly executed(k) Engages in the work of the department as and when it is necessary(l) Prepares Powerpoint presentations.(m) Executes any other task assigned by the Line Manager.Job Type: Full-time
