Who offer hemodialysis, dialysis, renal biopsies, post-surgical care of patients who have recently had a kidney transplant. Nephrology consultants who will also treat protein or blood in the urine, indicators that the kidneys are not able to flush wastes properly..Duties: To participate in the development of and undertake all duties and functions pertinent to the Consultant’s area of competence, as set out within the Clinical Directorate Service Plan and in line with policies · To supervise the care of patients within the Department of Renal Medicine. · To ensure that duties and functions are undertaken in a manner that minimizes delays for patients and possible disruption of services.
