About the role: An opportunity has arisen for an Audio Visual Technician to join Conference and Events department in Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: 1. To keep all audio visualequipment in good state of maintenance and repair. 2. To perform regularpreventive maintenance of all audio visual units and equipment inaccordance with the relevant schedule. 3. To check daily allequipment and inspect for proper functioning prior to the function. 4. To carry out repairs to allaudio visual equipment when necessary. 5. Thoroughly familiar withall regulations regarding safety at work and observe thesemeticulously at all times. 6. Performs such tasks asreplacing burned out electrical fuses, installing newelectric lamps and repairing electrical appliances. 7. Trouble shoots problemswith audio visual and electronic equipments rented form anoutside vendor, usually by clients using the SBU/SSU facilities. 8. Maintains all electricalsystems and equipments in good working condition through athorough Preventative Maintenance Program. 9. Completes Maintenance Requests; keeps a record of all supplies, toolsand repair parts used in operating and maintaining equipment.
