This person will be responsible for Supply Chain activities, and can successfully anticipate and react to the dynamic market changes through balancing demand & supply, implement and follow the Global Integrated Supply Chain Processes locally in order to optimize Supply Chain Operations and Sales & Operations planning and to ensure that all aspects of the operational business comply with quality , legal, regulatory requirements and the Novartis Pharma Supply Chain Manual and Policies. Your responsibilities Your Responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&BP) process.Demand generation : generate 24-month rolling forecast based on Franchise Managers projections; formal sign off process of inland sales forecastChallenge Franchise Managers on inland sales forecasts and collaborate with them in or-der to increase forecast accuracy; making adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.Manage , coordinate and sustain sales & operation planning best practice processes to ensure S&BP best practice process accuracyManage & support strategic supply chain initiatives in line with Global Supply Chain process from forecast to fulfilmentMonitor demand performance and initiate corrective actions through the organizationEnsure healthy inventory levels at distributorsDevelop Local manufacturing projects and ensure Market 3rd party supply plans is supporting demand needs in close collaboration with Basel External Supply organizationManage /support and coordinate lifecycle projects as Launches/transfers/divestment/pruning and changes, apply in 24-months rolling forecast of net requirements to ensure right product at the right time at the right placeManage, coordinate & follow up Sales Orders and Tender Quotations and all other supply chain related operationsEnsure orders are submitted on time with regular follow up of products availability with Basel supply chainAnticipate future trend in supply chain management and keep track of development in the market environmentMaintain strong working relationships with all external & internal business partners, specially related to S&BP-partners Country Operations, BPA, DRA, FRA, KAM, Franchise Management, Technical Operations, Novartis Pharma Services Basel, MEC Management and Customers/Agents/DistributorsManage/support Supply Chain projects and support other functions (BPA, Sales/Marketing and Country Operations, MEC- Management)Ensure orders are submitted on time with regular follow up of products availability in the appropriate delaysFollow up of Slow and no movers’ products and action plan if necessary.Extract, analyse and report system data to improve supply chain efficiencies Minimum requirements What you’ll bring to the role: The ideal candidate should have : 3-5 years experience in Supply chain Management, Materials Management / Logistics, Planning University graduate, degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Statistics, Business, Finance, or Engineering, or similar DivisionPHARMA Business Unit AMAC CountryUtd.Arab Emir.
