Event coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.ResponsibilitiesEvent planning, design, and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limitsLiaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfactionConduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any dealsProvide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholdersPropose ideas to improve provided services and event qualityOrganize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc.Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligationsSpecify staff requirements and coordinate their activitiesCooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize the eventProactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event dayConduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomesResearch market, identify event opportunities and generate interestRequirementsProven experience as an events planner or organizerAn impressive portfolio of previously managed events (weddings, meetings, parties, corporate events)Excellent time management and communication skillsSales skills and ability to build productive business relationshipsAbility to manage multiple projects independentlyMS Office proficiencyWilling to submit references from previous clientsDegree in Event Management or related fieldThis posting is just an outline of the basic responsibilities and requirements for the position, there is more to being a member of our company so just keep in mind that this is not a comprehensive list of everything the job will entail.
