Dubai -Job Description Role Responsibility: To manage the administrative functions of the media department. Competencies/Main Tasks: A) Knowledge: Knowledge and application of all agency related systems, procedures and software specific to administration tasks.A good knowledge of vendors, media vehicles in each market. B) Skills: Numeracy, literacy and accuracy.Be proficient in the use of applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the booking software of the company.Basic / simple ad-hoc negotiation skills. C) Product: Be proficient, proactive, and take ownership of work. D) Operations: To ensure accurate and timely vouching of all vendor invoices.To prepare production request forms and media instruction forms for requesting material from brand agencies and ensure timely follow up. -To maintain proper document trails and files for all supplier bookings and client approvals. -To provide finance with a weekly status of vouching. To liaise with suppliers (getting the latest grids, availabilities, rate cards etc..)To execute the bookings across all media plans once approved and to adjust modification orders from suppliers.To assist planners with competitive data and evaluation reports when necessary.To provide clients with accurate and timely financial reconciliation in liaison with the finance team.To provide clients with competitive alerts and other competitive data as determined by the account team. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis. Detailed Description Principal Accountabilities Strategy/Governance Ensure the timely provision of data and reports to “Systems Team Lead”, recommend Systems operational improvements to support planning, vision and decision making to have continuous improvement of IT infrastructure services. Operational Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks Participate in the design of information and operational support systems Provide 2nd and 3rd level support Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software Install and configure operating systems and other software and routinely test installed software for glitch detection and other issues Provide technical direction to IT support staff Ensure constant availability of technical resources Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention Requirements Education Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business field or equivalent Required professional certifications: Industry certification in IT infrastructure (e.g. AWS, CompTIA, DCDC, MCSE, etc) and project management (e.g. PRINCE II, PMP, etc) Preferred professional certifications: ITIL v4 Solid understanding of Systems and Systems security concept and requirements Working knowledge of windows AD, DNS, HTTP/s, SSH, LDAP, DHCP, etc. Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and security concepts. Extensive working knowledge of Servers, network hardware, operating systems and software. Experience 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience with a focus on Windows/UNIX operating systems. Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks. Solid Cloud experience, preferably in Azure and Private clouds. Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V and PowerVM). Experience with monitoring systems and help in providing all data needed for capacity planning, Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl) Solid networking knowledge. Work effectively under occasional high stress 24x7 on call conditions. Strong vendor management Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong experience in automation tools related to Systems management
