About the Job: An opportunity has a risen for a colleague to join our Sports & Leisure team in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, for a Play Attendant role. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Ensure safety & security of child within confined area. To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the outlet. Work on designated area as assigned i.e. 2-4 or 5-12 age group, reception or baby administration, Birthdays, Parties and Events. To make initial contact with guest immediately and to bid guest farewell and hope to see them soon(Brand standards). Follow kids club Operation Childcare Standards, Policies procedures and Health guidelines. Responsible for supervising customers and children. To be part of Rota for reception duties and reception gate. Checking the visitors for validity. Handling the cash receipts for any transactions. To provide information to the guests. Any other related tasks as designated by the Supervisor. To prevent abuse of equipment of other users as to promote a safe environment. To have basic first aid training and pediatric. Deliver activities, games & sport within area. Organize & schedule new events & activities. To help organize special events, in conjunction with other departments. Organize holiday activities. Monitor & minute hand over. Update & acknowledge communication logbook. Control registration of children. To fill out incident reports if necessary. Control administering of life jackets & control stock. Compile monthly activities schedule. Record & report any engineering work necessary. To complete a daily cleanliness checklist. To complete opening & closing checklists. Conduct daily briefing & hand over. Monitor outside activities Pool area. Entertain children in outside / inside computer areas. Follow activities scheduled. Collection of all equipment / toys at the end shift. Check area for any problems and report to Technical Services. About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Secondary Education or Equivalent. Flexible and with good Team spirits. English communication skills. Child care education background. Child protection. Posses the experience of working with young children. Child care experience and sports background will be an added advantage. Creative talent. Care giving. As per the Jumeirah management competencies.
