Dubai -Art Village Nursery is looking for a certified nurse with DHA license. We are looking for a highly motivated and certified nurse with experience working with children. The nurse consolidates the role of the visiting physician and devotes all of her time throughout the day to work at the nursery. She must daily observe the health of the children at the nursery and must successfully pass an evaluation test prepared by the competent official authorities. Main duties and responsibilities: To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the Setting To keep a proper record of achievement file on your key children, for parents/carers Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members Work alongside the manager and staff team to ensure that the philosophy behind the project is fulfilled Providing comfort and warmth to an ill child To ensure the Setting of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring Setting policies and procedures are observed at all times. Preparing the children’s medical registers and cards so as to enable the physician to write down his remarks on the condition of every child’s health. Conducting a daily medical examination for the children so as to discover diseases and the children infected by them and to isolate these children for presenting them to the physician or referring them to the hospital. Providing the daily medicine prescribed by the physician to every child at the specified intervals and according to the dosages specified in the medical card. Overseeing health and safety management of nursery premises and facilities Preparing a safe play environment, setting up equipment, ensure toys and equipment are cleaned and stored appropriately. Assessing children’s development skills and referring to other professionals when necessary. Carrying out first aid treatment for children and staff as required. Maintaining children’s medical records, ensuring all required medical information and documents are up to date. Training staff on management of allergies, and other major medical conditions. Assisting nursery doctor with general development check-ups. Ensure infectious and communicable disease policy is maintained and adhered to. Develop health and safety policies.
