Dubai -About The Role The Compensation and Benefits Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing compensation programs for assigned business segments and assisting the Head of Compensation and Benefits with annual rewards reviews. In addition to compensation related activities, the role holder will also have responsiblity for HR data and HRIS. Key Accountability Ensure compensation and benefits standards comply with company policies and/or other regulationsAnalyse, review, recommend, and obtain approval for changes at the appropriate levelDevelop and maintain salary ranges, establish effective and market based benefits/allowancesAssist in development of local policies and procedures to support the functionParticipate in market and salary surveys. Analyze published and custom country surveysAnswer colleagues’ queries on compensation and benefit mattersCoach and assist in development of new team membersCommunication of compensation and benefits information to employees and other HR groupsAssist in job evaluations and the annual merit process as requiredProvide support in assessing and administering annual incentive schemesEnsure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines Qualifications, Experience and Skills University degreeRegional Experience/or knowledge of the MENASA Labour law5 years in Compensation and benefits within large services companies with multiple sites and territories. Exposure to Saudi market a plusDemonstrated strong analytical skills and ability to successfully perform in-depth analyses. Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture.Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, conduct research, formulate conclusions and present conclusions regarding business issues. About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Butler to join Front Office department in Dar Al Masyaf. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Help and assist all the guests in a friendly and educated manner. Build a thorough rapport with all in-house guests in all the summer houses and maintain interaction in order to facilitate guest recognition and obtain specific individual needs, likes, and dislikes in order to maintain guest history files. Ensure privacy and security of in-house guests in every summer house. Ensure the Jumeirah greeting/arrival procedure is followed at all times. Ensures all expected arrival rooms/suites are checked and in order. Upsell rooms/suites and cross sell all outlets within the resort and Jumeirah International. Abide by all policies and procedures as provided in the butler services SOP manual as well as the hotel & company policies and procedures at all times. Adhere to all hotel health & safety policies. Have working knowledge of the hotel operating system (Oracle) and point of sale (Micros). Have full understanding & knowledge of all in room/suite services, amenities, functions & systems. Be fully responsible for the pantry and the reception desk in every summer house by ensuring the manning & cleanliness is controlled and both are correctly stocked & operationally prepared at all times according to set standards. Ensure a full & complete shift handover and maintain a high level of communication & feedback within the department. Co-ordinate & liaise at all times with the butler order taker/ team leader. Refresh the rooms/suites & assist with turndowns and ensure all rooms/suites are maintained & serviced as required. Coordinate laundry and pressing collection and delivery and provide a full shoeshine service. Unpack/ pack guest luggage as requested. Deliver and place the evening amenities or gifts and newspapers & magazines to all rooms/suites. Maintain full control of the bar replenishment and provide beverage service to all rooms/suites. About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: You must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Butler or Front Office role in a luxury five star hotel environment You must also have experience in using Opera PMS, Front Office System Good command of both spoken and written English Additional language is an added value Should be able to quickly learn and adapt to a new work environment.
