Dubai -Chief Financial Officer Overview: Our client is an expanding Fintech company that operates within the insurance and banking sectors. Established less than four years ago they now require an entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer to come on board and implement the finance and accounting elements of the business. The Role: This position will establish the Finance, Accounting departments, to ensure they are developing a scalable approach to long-term planning. The CFO is required to be an entrepreneurial leader and a mentor, they will be an important driver in bringing people together as they scale and grow both in terms of platforms offerings and Geographically. Key Areas of responsibility: Financial Control: Responsibility to ensure that appropriate systems and processes are in place. This includes but is not limited to: Group Reporting Treasury & Cash Management Debt Facilities Risk Management and Audits Tax Compliance Contract Management Corporate Finance: Including foreign exchange management and optimizing the balance sheet structure. Financial Strategy: Including budgeting, forecasting, contributing to the overall strategy and investment prioritization. Risk Management: Organizational risk framework, both strategic and financial. Information Technology: Selection and implementation of enterprise ERP/Accounting system.
