About theJob: Achieving maximum guest & colleaguesatisfaction by providing the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance throughoutthe hotel. MainDuties: Administrative: To ensureall departmental records and correspondence are completed punctually andaccurately. To ensureproper control of master keys of the hotel. To ensurethe proper handling of lost and found to Security. To ensureproper requisitioning and controlling of supplies. To ensureproper assignments of work to Housekeeping colleagues. To ensureeffective control of linen (i.e. receiving recording, storage, etc.) Operational: To provide colleagues a working environment inwhich they can perform to their highest capabilities and deliver Service beyondExpectations to guests. To interact with hotel guests, understand the needs of regular guestsand ensure detailed preparation and delivery for all VIP arrivals/in house. To ensure theHousekeeping department strictly adheres to and delivers the Housekeepingstandards as specified by Jumeirah, Leading Quality Assurance, DTCM and allother leading bodies. To communicateeffectively with the Front Office on anticipated guest check-ins, check-outs,suite assignment and rooming list, etc. To conductregular inspections of all hotel areas to check the cleanliness and condition.Preventative Maintenance Plan to adhered to. To beresponsible for the inventory of guest supplies, linen, uniforms and theordering and replacement when necessary. To makerecommendations to management for modernization of equipment, cleaning methodsand the set-ups of guest supplies. To liaisewith hotel’s contracted companies for pest control to ensure an effectiveprogram is constituted and maintained. Tointeract with individuals outside the hotel, such as suppliers, contractors,labor relations representations and competitors. To ensurethat all suites / VIP arrivals are checked prior to the arrival of guests for100% readiness. To ensurethat all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations arestrictly enforced by the employees. To ensureproper arrangement and maintenance of flowers and plants in the guest suitesand all Public Areas. To assistin the planning and implementation of the hotel’s renovation / upgrade plans asappropriate. Tocoordinate with Jumeirah sister hotels regarding operational opportunities To conductregular departmental meetings to keep employees informed of policies andprocedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments. To assistcolleagues, Housekeeping and non Housekeeping, during peak periods. To keep upto date with the Housekeeping practices of competitor hotels. About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join Engineering in Wild Wadi Waterpark. The main duties and responsibilities of the role: Provide all of the necessary repairs and maintenance in order to preserve and improve the physical functionality and appearance of the facility Understand and follow all manufacturer and Dubai - Municipality guidelines, Jumeirah and Wild Wadi Standard Operating Procedures in order to exceed the operational requirements and ensure the guest receives the highest standards of quality and service at all times Perform water quality tests in order to maintain appropriate sanitation levels according to the Dubai - Municipality standards Perform planned preventative maintenance in order to prevent any future equipment failures Maintain appropriate records throughout the department in order to ensure the efficient flow of information Prepare requisitions for tools or materials necessary for performing specific projects in order to ensure proper repairs are achieved Perform safety inspections of all rides, ride surfaces, ride structural integrity and general building safety in order to maintain a safe environment for our guests Provide assistance for exclusive use events when needed, and to assist in the preparations of facilities for special functions, themed evenings, etc. in order to contribute to the success of the organization Report any safety concerns to management in order to maintain the highest standard of safety and hygiene at all times To completely satisfy each guest by providing a great ride experience, comfortable water temperatures and maintain overall cleanliness of the park which will contribute to the success of the organization shown in the Customer Satisfaction Index results Respond to work orders in a timely and courteous manner Provide support to the other maintenance functions of the park should conditions arise which need immediate attention; such as water damage to floors, ceilings, and walls Maintain all tools and equipment in good repair and working condition Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors This job requires exerting 25 to 50 kilograms of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 kilograms of force frequently.
