About the Position: We are looking for a highly qualified Legal advisor and highly legal knowledge of the laws and regulation in UAE, Oman , Bahrein, KSA, Egypt and Syria , to assist Head Of Legal in providing timely legal advice to the all departments of the company and assist in handling the company`s litigation . Qualifications Law degree from reputable university. A minimum of 14 years total experience in the field of legislation, 5 years within UAE is a must , either in reputable law firm or in legal department at sound PJSC company. Sound knowledge of insurance and companies law and general experience across wide range of legal areas. Ability to read, review and make drafting amendments to legal documents in both language Arabic & English is a must Ability to create legal defensive and proactive strategy High degree of professional Ethic and integrity Skills Excellent reporting Skills, research skills, legal administration skills, litigation, client relationships, organization, planning, attention to detail, confidentiality, dependability. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with knowledge in MSOffice. Excellent investigative and analytical skills. Responsibilities Responsibility for all litigation and disputes including legal representation offering advice on legal issues, reviewing quality case documents and pertinent legal information required. Preparing Case summaries for pleadings. File Management, File database periodic updates, Monitoring calendars and meeting deadlines. Co-ordinating with external lawyers to confirm case status. Communicating case progress to all concerned. Maintains case costs, legal expenses, follow up payment to external lawyers and legal counsel to ensure that the company receives the appropriate assistance.Participate in drafting, negotiating and finalizing of legal papers, contracts, agreement and other legal documentation. Assist Head of legal in corporate governance and compliance requirement Monitoring and obtaining discovery responses, organizing materials for head of legal. Co-ordinate with various departments to develop cases, scheduling depositions; preparing, forwarding summons and subpoenas; drafting complaints; preparing and filing discovery requests, preparing responses to opposing counsel; generating status reports. Needs continuous job knowledge updates by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Internal Auditor within the Internal Audit team in Jumeirah Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Supports the prioritization of the audit initiatives based on urgency, organizational issues and importance, and implement the plan based on the prioritization in order to ensure the critical and major areas are audited on priority. Contribute to the risk assessment process by identifying existing and emerging risks and internal controls within the Group and its SBUs and provide recommendations to mitigate risks. Conduct meetings with auditees to identify and understand all aspects of internal controls, procedures, policies and practices and generate the relevant reports as required. Conduct internal audit activities (as per DH Audit manual) including the audit of areas such as operational processes, financial and accounting processes, IT, HR, marketing and sales processes, etc. depending on risks identified, and highlight non-conformances and facilitate their prompt mitigation. Support process owners in developing suitable corrective/preventive actions in response to the internal audits areas of non-compliance in order to enable quick correction and mitigation of further occurrences. Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions identified to ensure they are corrected on time and to keep the line manager informed of any discrepancies or delays. Complete the day-to-day activities assigned by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence. About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University. Professional Certification Essential: CIA Desired: CISA, CFE 3 to 5 years of internal audit experience preferably with an international luxury hospitality company/ recognized blue-chip organization and/or external audit within the “Big 4”. Proficient data collection/mining, data analytics and reporting skills. Proficient in planning, organizing and multi-tasking. Ability to provide guidance to more junior team members. Have special skills or knowledge (IT, data mining) and the ability to instruct, train, and develop colleagues in those skills. Possesses ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
