Dubai -Job Descriptions (Dubai -, United Arab Emirates) Looking for a Junior Sous Chef for a 5* luxury hotel & resort About the Role: As Junior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Outlet kitchen with emphasis on quality, presentation within the guidelines of the standardized menus and employee training Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues. Ensure all kitchen Colleagues are aware of standards and expectations. Supervise the Outlet kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel's SOPs and standardized menu guidelines Liaise daily with Outlet Managers to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback. Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs. Ensure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelines. Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage. Other duties as assigned. Dubai -A full time experienced HVAC Technician is needed in Dubai - UAE in an engineering company. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Selected candidates should be able to inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment. Interested applicants should be able to maintain and conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant. Preferred candidates should be able to monitor and control property temperatures when at work. Ideal applicants should be able to monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage during the work procedures. Candidates should be able to calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other HVAC ancillary equipment. Applicants should be able to assemble,install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, etc relating to HVAC systems and Equipment. JOB REQUIREMENTS Interested candidates should have a working experience as an HVAC technician in the same field or related for a period of 3 years. Preferred applicants should have ability to Read and follow blueprints / schematics for the clients. Ideal candidates should have ability to assemble, install, test and troubleshoot HVAC equipment. Selected applicants should have a good understanding of HVAC Code (both local and ASHRAE). Candidates should have demonstrated knowledge of HVAC Tools and Instrumentation and also Knowledge of Lock / Tag Out Protocol, OSHA and other HVAC safety procedures. Applicants should have an understanding of maintenance inventory and requisition of parts and supplies as needed.
