Dubai -As a Business Analyst, you will provide Aviation (Airline Operations/Cargo/Ground Handling) domain expertise and will provide consulting service to project teams. Assist IT Project Managers as required on projects relevant to the customer unit by, for example, writing specification documents or by providing domain advice for application support and development, manage functional implementation and user training activities etc. Skills Needed: Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with in-depth experience in Airline Operations, Cargo or Ground Handling operations. Must have front facing experience, working with vendors to maximise the capabilities of products. Must have experience working with various Aviation vendors, specifically within Operations/Cargo/Ground Handling. Proven hands-on experience gathering requirements and driving projects through to completion. Must have worked on Product development and implementation projects. Must be extensively experienced in ‘Below the Wing’ (Ground Handling/Cargo/Operations) systems. Strong stakeholder management is essential, with clear, concise communication skills. Responsibilities: Provide a consulting service to the business by utilising strong business acumen and Aviation domain expertise to recommend initiatives to add value. Understand the business strategy and work with the Business Relationship Manager to develop initiatives and present them to decision makers within the customer business unit. Solicit and evaluate business requests to determine cost feasibility research and identify options and recommend solutions that best serve business needs across the enterprise. Oversee the analysis done by Business Analysts as they capture and document business objectives and functional requirements and translate them into requirements. Oversee the production of the logical systems design (detailing business information flow/process) for a proposed solution. This includes detailed business use cases, system use cases, entity relationship modelling, function hierarchy diagramming and process modelling, function to entity mapping and attributing the entities etc. as appropriate to the methodology being used.
