It is a major contributor to Emirates NBD Group profitability with projected Revenue of AED 17+billion and Net Profit of over AED 10 billion for 2018. The loans business is an integral part of Retail Banking proposition and constitutes various products and services. Loans is a key life stage product for customers and Emirates NBD's lending options form a critical input for customers while selecting their main financial institution. The Retail asset business provides financial solution to retail banking customers from such as cash support through Personal Loan, Retail SME, OD, Auto Loan, Home Loan etc with structured repayments. Retail Loans is committed to deliver AED 8Bn acquisition FY 2019. Given this Sales investment has been approved to hire additional resources for Business Support to manage the overall Retail Assets Retention and Support digitization initiatives. Retail Loans include Home Loan, Auto Loan, Personal Loan and Overdraft. The Retention provides support to sales in providing tailor made solution to customers for retention by offering attractive rates, fee waivers and/or Top up. The team collaborates with credit unit for any sales support and also provides training to frontline ensuring all are aligned with the policy and processes. Brief Description: The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for working with the product management team for Retail Loans in implementing pricing strategy for all Loan Products in order to maximize profitability and achieve revenue budgets. The role holder will be responsible for the Portfolio management for Home Loan, Personal Loan, Auto Loan and Overdraft. The core responsibility of the Incumbent will be the portfolio and profitability of the Personal loan, Auto Loan and Overdraft book. Job Requirements: The key objective is to achieve the financial goals for Retail Loans that includes portfolio, acquisition and revenue.Maximize the product use leading to good impact and benefits on organization.Develop a strategy to sell and promote the product.Detailed planning business budgeting and forecasting, develop 3 - year plan and continuously monitor the performance of the portfolio against targets.Strategic reviewing on existing business models and includes introduction of new ones (sales model, process flows).Assess various risks and develop mitigants to safeguard bank's profitability and reputation.Introduce and rationalize process to adopt best practices.Ensure business margins are maintained at a profitable level to ensure a sustained growth momentum is achieved.Monitor yield, FTP and cost for both originations and portfolio level.Recommend and implement new pricing structures in line with competition and portfolio indicators and implement necessary schemes on the lending platform.Explore opportunities of additional fee lines/ X sell opportunities to strengthen the income for the Personal Loan and Auto Loan.Ensure lending is extended to the right customer mix. Person specification: University Degree (post graduate is a plus) Experience in Sales, Marketing and Product development of Retail Lending Products. Banking Experience of at least 5-7 years Minimum 3-4 years experience on Retail Banking in product support preferably Home Loans/Mortgages in GCC U.A.E Good communication skills, interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Willing to learn and adapt to changing situations/priorities. Team player, Ability to work seamlessly with all stakeholders both internal and external parties. Must have strong people skills. About the Role The Head of Wholesale, is responsible for sales and brand positioning of brands within the portfolio within MENA region, full P&L accountability and brand compliance in markets. Key Accountabilities: Brand Head up the brand wholesale channels of distribution. Work in parallel with the brand teams to set and maintain strong brand position within markets.
