Job Purpose: The Body shop estimator is responsible for providing automotive repair estimates and relating this information to the garage technician so that the unit can be repaired in a timely fashion. This position interacts daily with internal and external customers, insurance representatives, service advisors, technicians, parts associates, Garage Managers and other store associates.Key Responsibilities: Interact with the insurance company for the claims. * Handle the complete process of the accident claims * Knowledge of the spare parts of the commercial vehicle * Knowledge of the body structure of the commercial vehicles * Estimation of the accident vehicles * Able to negotiate and get the best price for the accident claims * Deal with the higher management of the insurance company for claims * Able to read and understand the police papers clearly * Execute the accident jobs on the floor with the technicians. * Good communication and drafting skills. * Knowledge of computer with MS Office. * Able to work under pressure and execute the accident jobs.
