Dubai -We are hiring a Legal Assistant who will be responsible for undertaking a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in the Legal Department working under the supervision of Associate Legal Counsel. He/she will also provide support in assigned legal cases and smooth running of the Department. The role could require dealing with Government authorities. The goal is to sustain efficiency of all procedures and case management to guarantee reliability and consistency. Requirements: Provide administrative support to legal team and enhance office effectiveness by ensuring compliance with all reporting, filing and documentation requirements Source and verify important case intelligence, type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence as required; Assist with various aspects of company secretarial work Create and maintain organized files for the Department Prepare agreements for signature by authorized signatories Receiving and reviewing legal assistance requests Opening and tracking new legal matters Assisting the Legal team with legal work such as preparing for meetings, taking minutes and drafting notes for files Receiving invoices, tracking expenses and working closely with Finance Department to follow up on payments and allocation of costs internally Provide general assistance to senior members of the Legal team Research and support in responding to general legal enquiries relating to corporate, litigation, intellectual property and compliance matters • Benefits: As the UAE’s largest retailer of luxury watches and jewellery, we provide an outstanding working environment and exciting career opportunities.
