The Role We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Biology - Maternity Cover from January 2020 to July 2020 The successful candidate will work in an exceptional department which is both extremely popular and successful. Despite the non-selective nature of the school, over three quarters of our Year 11s take Triple Science GCSE – with huge success. In 2018 all three Sciences achieved over 90% grades 9-7. Similarly, at A level results are outstanding with all three subjects significantly exceeding 50% A*/B. To be considered for this appointment: You will A certified teaching qualification with exceptional subject knowledge. Experience teaching Biology to A-Level or equivalent. We are seeking to appoint talented, highly motivated and well-qualified individuals. You should have a proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching. Significant experience of the National Curriculum for England. To be considered for these posts you must hold a B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
