Dubai -Type: Permanent role based in Dubai - Must Have: Minimum of 4-year ecommerce experience Minimum of 3 years within a management consulting firm Retail experience Role description Working alongside Ecommerce, Digital Marketing & Customer Experience experts, you will drive and support the implementation of the ecommerce channel for renowned international retailers. Leading each key phase of the implementation, you guide and assist our clients’ teams and their partners to effectively deliver all business, operational and technological work streams, from kick-off through to testing and launch. Acting as a driving force, you will be pivotal in ensuring the project is delivered on time and on budget. By facilitating decision making and advising teams in their deliveries, you will drive high levels of internal confidence. Responsibilities Working hand-in-hand with our in-house experts, develop our clients’ omnichannel plans across business, operations, technology and organisation Conducting client workshops to define omnichannel requirements and specifications (e.g. online catalogue data model, checkout funnel…) Designing ecommerce processes and assisting client teams in implementing the needed retail operations changes (e.g. fulfillment, customer service, reverse logistics…) Providing architectural and solution recommendations across front and back-office, including end-to-end management of the supplier selection process This is a key client-facing role requiring proven retail and ecommerce experience, as well as strong stakeholder management skills on client side across business, technology and operations. Key requirements Management consultancy background is a must At least 4 years ecommerce experience in Europe or North America Successfully led and supported the implementation of ecommerce work streams on Hybris, Websphere, Demandware, ATG or Magento within a retail environment In-depth knowledge of ecommerce development lifecycles in both Agile and Prince2 methodologies Experience conducting ecommerce requirements/specifications definition workshops and designing solution Experience designing ecommerce processes across front and/or back-office within a retail environment Other requirements Successful track record of delivering ecommerce project work streams to quality, on time and on budget In-depth understanding of ecommerce architectures and implications across supply chain, product, marketing, merchandising, store operations, HR, etc. Hands-on experience across backlog definition, UX and Quality Assurance/UAT Excellent written and verbal communications in English Strong stakeholder management skills Bachelor or Master degree in business administration or a related field Willing to relocate to Dubai - Willing to travel within the Middle East and to Mauritius We offer relocation support, health insurance and annual flight home.
