The ideal candidate for this position brings several years of experience, previously working as a commercial broker in the aviation industry. Previous experience in managing a team is essential for the successful candidate to bring. Purpose of the role To effectively manage the Passenger and VIP Charterteam and ensure the achievement of individual, team and company objectives. To train and guide the Passenger and VIP Charter team and ensure that they adhere to company guidelines and follow best practices in order to minimise company liability and exposure. To work with exisiting clients and potential clients and handle enquiries from their conception to execution by offering tailored solutions suitable to client requirement within budgetary and operational restrictions whilst making a suitable profit for the company. Flight Quoting Communicate effectively withaircraft providers for offers. Use established in-house systems and formats to log and generate quotes Negotiate with aircraft providers when necessary to procure best valuefor clients. Evaluate suitable commission schedule. Ensure timely offer with detailed and accurate information is providedfor clients. Follow up regularly and worktowards confirmation. Flight Booking Ensure all contracts, insurance and regulatory matters are accurate,legally compliant and that companyrequirements are met. Verify supplier contract in detail and ensure all terms comply with CFcharter agreement. Issue flight brief with all flight related information. Communicate with suppliers at all times to ensure clients requirements are met. Use established in-housesystems and formats to log and generate operational documentation. ClientRelationship Management Liaise with clients to identify requirements and source suitable,competitive aircraft charter solutions. Maintain and develop relationships with both key clients and new businessleads to maximisebusiness opportunities and increaseclient loyalty in an industry where client retention is never guaranteed. Manage all operational aspects of charters from the first enquiry tocompletion of the trip. Ensure client is always kept informed of any development linked tospecific bookings. Building up strong relationships when making cold calls to new clients. Visit clients on a regular basis. Maintain relationships withoperators. ContractManagement Ensure all contracts are madeaccording to company requirements, are accurate and legally compliant. Ensure all contracts that aresigned by the Passenger and VIP Charter team are done so according to companyrequirements and are legally compliant. Liaise with clients and suppliers on issues relating to contracts toensure these are addressed. Finance Ensure invoices are raised correctly with accurate information and payments are paid by clients and to suppliersin an agreed time scale. Negotiate prices with suppliers to maximise profits on individual files or to assist for others files. Ensure payments are kept up todate and monitored for any late or delayedpayments. Information Management Ensureall client and supplier data is kept up to date and is managed in a discreetand legal compliant manner. Keepup to date on latest operational capabilities of aircraft, airports and handlers. Keep up to date on latest aircraft availability and airport and control authority procedures. Leadership Provide leadership by exampleand hands-on support to Brokers. Foster a highly collaborative, commercial approach to inter-company businessencouraging greater communication at all levels. Positively communicate Passenger Operations and Sales Strategies outlined by the Board of Directors to the team. Provide mentoring, training and development of personnel whilstfostering an open, team spirited,business culture. Provide guidance anddirection to staff within the Passenger and VIP Charter team and ensure staffremain motivated and enthusiastic whilst creating vision and scope for future developments. People Management Effectivelymanage personnel in line with Group HR policies, procedures and guidelines thatconform fully to local legislation and regulations. Act in a professional,confidential and appropriate manner in all staff interactions and employee matters. Analyse individuals progress against team targets. Provide guidance to teamstaff on delivery of key responsibilities. Set targets for the teams annual expectations. Summarise monthly progress towardstargets and communicate this to staff. Team Management Responsible for the day-to-day operation ofthe Passenger Charter team. Ensurethe team handle broking enquiries in a professional manner, from initialquoting to contracting and operational management, within planned budget andallowing for a suitable profit. Provide support and decisive recommendationsfor solutions when problems occur and take corrective action when needed. Ensure effective balance ofworkload across the team. Monitor team activity andcreate monthly reports for senior management. Correlation with Group Passenger Sales Director and Group Passenger Operations Director Towork in conjunction with the Group Passenger Sales Director and Group PassengerOperations Director to ensure that operational activities are aligned and workin harmonisation with each other. To actively build strongrapport with the Group Passenger Sales Director and Group Passenger OperationsDirector to ensure the overall Passenger strategy is implemented effectively. Other To travel whenrequired in line with business needs Participate in a rotating ot of hour's duty rota within the commercial team.
