Receptionist cum Cashier - -Dubai

Dubai -Job Summary: Greets and welcomes patients and visitors in the reception and help them to understand and solve their concerns and problems. Responsible for patients’ admission, Orienting patients and their families/ relatives regarding the hospital policy and help them with necessary or required information. Prepare cost estimate in ER, Coordinate with other concerned departments for room allocation, insurance approvals and payment scheme along with performing clerical duty as assigned which includes patients’ appointments, maintaining logs, preparing statistics, preparing documents needed for insurance approval, ordering and stocking desk supplies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcome & Register patients and help them to fill up the necessary documents as per hospital policy. Verify the insurance card validity & eligibility for insured patients. Scan the patients’ I.Ds. and insurance cards in sage Fill up the appropriate insurance claim forms and print the forms from the online system for insured patients. Enter the insurance card data via the online claims for verification. Entering the insurance card info in sage using right entry format for each card Help in printing the registration label & the visit slip for the patients/ visitors. Insurance Requests shall be scanned in shared folder for pre authorizations. Accountable and responsible for generating invoices and cash/ credit collection. Liaise between the insurance coordinator and the nurses to help patients and expedite their approval process. Responsible for rescheduling and booking appointments for the patients. Regular updating of insurance policies in sage each visit. Closing & tallying the daily collection reports and handover the same to the finance department. Qualification: Bachelor / Diploma from a recognized university or college Experience: Minimum of two (2) recent years of experience in the Health Care Field Knowledge / Technical Skills: Ability to operate computers Must have basic understanding of oral and written English and Arabic Must have communication skills adequate to communicate effectively with patients, co- workers, and supervisors Personal Abilities / Competencies: Adheres to dress code. Wears identification while on duty. Participates in departmental education on performance improvement. Attends departmental orientation and in-service training for department staff members, participates in guidance and educational programs. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community. Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the facility as well as the focus statement of the department.
