About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Executive Sous Chef to join the Culinary team. The main purpose of this role is to work in our hotel on a daily basis according to business requirements. Your main duties will include the following: To assist the Executive Chef in writing standard recipes which allow the property to run at an acceptable food cost. . To assist the Executive Chef in minimizing payroll costs by maximizing the productivity and efficient scheduling of employees. To monitor all kitchens operating costs and takes corrective action where necessary to reduce expenses. To assist the Executive Chef in developing menus, buffets and "specials" which meet the needs and which comply with company and hotel policies and procedures and minimum standards To assist in writing and updating the relevant section of the Departmental Operations Manual. To assist in maximizing employee productivity and morale and consistently maintain discipline following hotel guidelines and local legislation. To ensure that operating and kitchen equipment is maintained to a good standard with minimum breakage. To maintain good working relationship with colleagues and all other departments. To have a complete understanding of company policies and adhere to them relating to Fire, Hygiene and Safety. Check incoming produce, ensuring that all food merchandise is in accordance with order sheets, receiving records and purchasing specifications. Dubai -Play Your Part The position is outsourced through third party Motiongate Dubai - manpower supplier. In this role you are responsible to ensure the attraction (s) is operated with utmost attention to safety and exemplary presentation standards Main Duties: Validate that the attraction have passed the Maintenance Daily Check Handles the panel operations for the ride / attraction Execute the pre-opening check list. Maintain cleanliness and good order in the attraction area Welcome Guests and provide the safety information and any extra information they may request Complete the Guests load/unload process Manages the Grouping for the ride in relation to normal, single riders, Fast Pass and premium Q line guests Check the compliance of all safety regulation before running the attraction Participate as needed in the pre-show of the attraction Provides the first level answer to Guest complaints or escalate it to the Team Leader Escalate to Team leader any potential malfunction in the attraction Participate in the evacuation process in the assigned role Close the attraction in a safe mode as per the Operating standards Replace temporarily the Team Leader when required Monitors the consumables ( 3D glasses ) and maintains and inventory for the same Adhere to the parks / attractions code of conduct, grooming and uniform standards Are You a Star?
