Export Executive – Logistics Operations - Dates Co.-Dubai

Dubai -Full-time, PermanentResponsible for all transactions related to imports and exports for Dates products.Co-ordinates clearing and forwarding of all imports & exports for the company.Performs costing of all import shipments for goods in transit in the consignment data base.Liaises with the Finance Department for opening Letters of Credit, transfers, and Bank Delivery orders for shipment covered by L/C.Authorizes our Freight forwarders to clear the goods in case of direct shipments.Co-ordinates for inspection and necessary survey in case shipments arrive in open/torn/wet/damaged condition.Attends inspection of damaged goods during transit at airport/seaport along with the Insurance Company’s representative.Obtain a short lading certificate from the Customs Authority.Files Insurance claims and follows up for payments/credit note with the insurance company.Obtains all attested legal documents necessary for exports from Dubai - Chamber of commerce and industry.Checks and verifies Freight Forwarder's invoices for both imports & exports, obtain approval from respective department Head and forwards these to Finance for payment.Ensure timely implementation of the import-export procedures which are in connection with Customs offices, Shipping Lines and Ports Key.Responsibilities Supervise and check on the required documents for arranging customs declarationsSolve problems and pending issues with customs Plans and schedule the whole customs process to ensure completeness of the required process.Check the documents and making sure that it is delivered as needed Dubai - Trade, Mirsal 2 and Abu Dhabi system KnowledgePost-process of Customs documents (Amend Cancel etc.) Keep logs and records of stock, executed orders etcPrepare accurate reports for upper managementRequirements: Minimum 3-4 Years experience in handling clearing & forwarding, product costing and dealings with customs.related experience as Import-Export Executive.Good fluency in English; Some knowledge of Arabic preferred.Knowledge of prevailing customs rules and regulations.Knowledge of imports & exports procedures, customs/ bank/insurance documentation and formalities.Knowledge of costing and pricing methodology.Knowledge of logistics and Customs KIZAD /JAFZA /DP World Shipping & Freight ForwardingKnowledge of packaging products for shipping/delivery.Knowledge of inventory management practices.Interested candidate can apply with your updated resume to be attached.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
