Dubai -Position-Specific Objectives Acting as an internal consultant and proactive business partner to our company departments, this position: Act as a team member resource on various HR related core competencies including payroll, benefits, leaves of absences, reporting, and personnel file management. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of local, state and federal employment law considerations that are relevant to Flyers’ scope of operations. Provide support and advice regarding personnel policies and practices. Support and guide team members through various benefit questions and claim issues. Manage, conduct, and communicate benefit enrollment and announcements regarding benefit changes and compliance. Respond to verifications of employment (VOE) and other various pay and team member information related inquiries. Process periodic team member information changes including addresses, benefits, direct deposit, etc. Responsible for the administration, audit, and maintenance of team member personnel files within compliance and regulatory requirements including file management. Respond to request for copies of personnel files and unemployment claims. Drive effective and impactful team member engagement, communication, and recognition efforts. Create an environment where team members are passionate about where they work and want to succeed. Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communication mediums, including but not limited to, company intranet, newsletter, and announcements. Develop unstructured data analytics to understand the team member mindset; get real-time feedback on sentiment and reactions to key messages. Coordinate with other departments to establish relationships and seek feedback on how to effectively communicate and engage team members across various segments of the business. Support HR team as needed with various payroll processing items. Support HR team as needed with various Leave of Absence actions (including, but not limited to FMLA, CFRA, ADA, PDL, and SDI coordination). Support HR team as needed with various Workers’ Compensation (W/C) items. Coordinate with Talent Acquisition to create and post various job advertisements both internal and external. Support Talent Acquisition and Development with coordination and administration of the new hire orientation and on-boarding process. Support Talent Acquisition and Development with on-going team member check-ins with recently hired and tenured team members to maintain team member engagement and connection.
