Dubai -Play Your Part The Sales Manager will work with the Head of Sales in executing the hotel sales strategy through which they will deliver sales and revenue targets. Create and build on an account base for the hotel Explore all sales opportunities and products of the hotel Actively sell to new, and regular clients going forward, inline with the overall sales strategy Establish key client relationships and maintain contact on a regular basis through sales calls and client meetings Meet with clients to understand their needs and requirements Entertain clients to maximise every revenue opportunity that can be secured Closely liaise with Revenue team in securing business/bookings Evaluate and feedback regarding all sales and marketing activities Main Responsibilities: Business Impact / Results: Work with the Head of Sales in monitoring and analysing sales mix, in comparison with overall hotel goals and strategy Monitor and analyse business performance, and feedback into the sales strategy Track competitor activity and report on key findings and trends Analyse and use sales and marketing data To effectively utilise sales budget Creativity: Understand and relate to the dynamic nature of the hotel industry Explore and develop Park related elements which can be combined with packages and products Execute tour of the hotel along with the appropriate literature and information Assist and input into the development of new products and services Communication: Be attentive to, anticipate and fulfil guest needs Maintain and demonstrate a high level of knowledge to enhance the guest’s experience Display and demonstrate a “service” attitude Act upon all guest feedback to resolve any complaints and improve guest satisfaction Applied Knowledge and Specialist Skills: Effective use of department resources Take appropriate action to produce positive business results Stock control of all sales and marketing collateral Complexity and Problem Solving: Creative ideas for delivery of guest satisfaction, operational and sales targets – effectively utilising park and hotel facilities and services to create a unique offering Working with operational park and hotel teams to ensure thorough understanding of the operation and appreciation of each aspect of the business and what it delivers to our guests. Legal Counsel, 5th Region - -Dubai
Dubai -Job Description The Legal Director will oversee the legal function in the 5th Region and provide legal support relating to the Company’s 5th Region’s operations including strategic and regional initiatives, commercial transactions and agreements, employment and union matters, compliance training, investigations and other initiatives, crisis management, legal and administrative inquiries, investigations and litigations in the region, and corporate governance and legal entity record-keeping of the 5th Region’s subsidiaries. Role responsibilities Assisting with general corporate matters for all 5th Region’s subsidiaries, including corporate governance matters, legal entity record-keeping, and drafting / reviewing minute books and resolutions. Providing legal advice and counseling on all legal matters in the 5th Region and analyzing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements including supply, distribution, agency, vendor, customer, services, finance, real estate, insurance, confidentiality, employee offer /separation and strategic alliance agreements and assisting with human resources and labor matters. Overseeing and provide training on IFF’s corporate compliance programs including the Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery and Crisis Management. Handling all compliance issues in close cooperation with the Corporate Compliance Function. Representing the Company in legal and administrative inquiries, investigations and litigations and preparing representatives of the Company for court appearances and other meetings when necessary. Providing assistance with SEC and NYSE reporting obligations, auditor litigation reports, GRA & regulatory issues Job Requirements Required skills Familiarity with the laws of the 5th Region (e.g. Turkey, Africa, India and/or or Middle-East). Experience negotiating and drafting commercial agreements and contracts. Experience managing litigation caseload including labor, tax and commercial claims required. Experience with labor and union matters. Experience dealing with compliance matters and investigations. Experience with environmental matters and government regulation matters. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and an ability to convey complex legal principles clearly and concisely. Education requirements Law degree from a reputable European, Middle-Eastern, US or LATAM based University. Other graduate degrees a plus. Licensed to practice law in any of the Western-European, Middle-Eastern, US or LATAM jurisdictions. Over 5 years of legal experience preferably both in-house and at a law firm. Fluency in English. Skills in other languages preferred (Arabic, French and/or Spanish). Required background At least 5 years of relevant experience with previous in-house experience. Mature judgment with the ability to build relationships across the entire IFF organization. Pragmatic business acumen with the ability to recognize the business consequences of legal advice. Demonstrative willingness to be a collaborative and consultative team player who possesses an ability to work well both independently and in a team environment. Ability to successfully manage multiple matters and meet deadlines within a changing, fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
