Dubai -Full-time, PermanentOur Client is a major contractor based in Saudi is looking for an experienced contractor’s MEP Manager for a major villa and infrastructure project in Riyadh. They are expected to have worked for Grade A contractors, have been involved with works of a similar nature, have a good command of English and, if possible, a basic knowledge of Arabic and have worked in Saudi Arabia. They are not likely to have had less than 10 years’ experience (6 with a contractor) in MEP works and will have suitable qualifications (Electrical preferred), including a recognised membership of an Engineering Society. They will need to show leadership and skills in innovative ideas. They will report to the Construction Manager on the project and will be responsible for the management of all the MEP: The work includes: Quality Assurance: Establish procedures and method statements for execution of the MEP activities. Material selection: Provide specifications and quantities of materials and accessories required for the MEP installations. Quality Control: To ensure the QA/QC processes are executed by the subcontractors and the EH team. Testing and Commissioning: Plan and implement the testing and commissioning of the MEP installations. The project already has an EDMS and Commercial software programmes installed and the P6 schedule has been developed. The Employment Package: The position is open to a person that will reside in Riyadh with a KSA visa (this will be provided by EHC). The post can be single or accompanied (the costs of accompanying family are the responsibility of the employee). The company will provide annual flights for a 30-day leave period for the employee, spouse and children. Health insurance is provided for the family residing in Riyadh. All other costs are to the employee. After a 3-month probationary period, there will be a one-month notice period. Candidates based in Saudi must have a transferrable iqama. Dubai -Participates in client/project meeting(s) for highly complex project definition, needs assessment and design review. Evaluates the needs and requirements of the users and provides technical expertise in the development of technical, structural and organizational specifications. Determine appropriateness of data for storage and optimum storage organization.Designs, develops and integrates highly complex database systems for internal and external users/clients.Creates, documents and implements standards and/or complex modeling to monitor and enhance the capacity and performance of the database.
