Job Description Description : Part of the Finance Team, you will actively participate in the daily operations of the function including review of all payments, processing related to suppliers and maintenance of payment records and fixed asset register. Main responsibilities : Manage cash flow (opex/capex) requirements of the branch Analyze, reconcile, and evaluate the accuracy of general ledger, accounting details, revenues, expenditures, fixed assets, daily journal, cash balances, and inter-company transactions; Close books monthly and annually. Correct, edit, and prepare summaries and reports as needed; Support the team in meeting the audit requirements Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems, policies and procedures; Support in preparing and managing the branch’s various reporting, i.e. Financial, regulatory and VAT; Update the templates for the budgets, forecasts and monthly submissions; Prepare analytical reports highlighting variances in spending and submit them for review; Manage and control the branch’s chart of accounts to ensure compliance with standard accounting procedures specified under French GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards principles; Issue invoices to clients and other related party, reviewing cash claims on concur and assist on budgets and ad-hoc requests from Head Office and management; Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters; Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Should have minimum of 2 years of work experience in similar role, preferably in banking Strong MS application skills (excel, ppt, word) Good knowledge of accounting procedures and systems Possess good communication and presentation skills Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within a team Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines within a fast paced and challenging environment.
