Dubai -Full-time, PermanentJob Function: Finance Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-time Contract Type: Permanent Job Level: Entry-level We are looking to hire an RSSC - Accountant to ensure reporting and accounting according to Reporting and Accounting Manual and to support and ensure the activities of Shared Services Center. Responsibilities General Ledger & Reporting 1. Assists Shared Service Centre as operational interface & query handling 2. Prepares, approves and submits journal entries (excluding standard accrual) 3. Reviews and approves G/L account reconciliations. 4. Reconcile vendor accounts on a monthly basis. 5. Conducts Internal compliance activities 6. Requests master data changes. 7. Provides written responses to auditors’ requests and consolidate feedback of third parties. 8. Assists the FSSC to clear unapplied cash Intercompany 1. Reviews and approves intercompany journal vouchers and entries, invoices and accruals 2. Works with operations to improve intercompany process and approval in DFM system. Fixed Asset Accounting 1. Works with operations to requests new/ change asset master data 2. Manages fixed assets tag and numbers 3. Reconciles fixed assets/ organizes local fixed assets reconciliation and addresses differences accordingly KPI’s: Number of parked items in relation of total AP transactions (3rd party and I/C) Customer Disputes are resolved after 5 days on COD 7 days after the 3rd dunning letter Pre-Payments, Short-Payments, Double-Payments, Unapplied Cash and Bad Debt Provisions are posted according to the OTC policy. Qualifications: Education background in business administration or similar qualification Professional experience in accounting/ financial processes Additional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, etc.) is a plus. Tax Knowledge. Skills: Proven ability to understand and analyze complex financial information High level of attention to detail and a logical and organized approach High level of accuracy, credibility and accountability Ability to work well independently as well as in a team and remote with off-shore partner Strong communication skills Languages: English: fluent in written and spoken. Specifics for Job / Environment: Knowledge of freight forwarding and/ or logistics Profound knowledge of accounting processes Profound knowledge of IFRS Good understanding of Shared Services concept Profound knowledge of MS-Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Dubai -The Role Undertake market, supplier and customer spending analysis in support of all F&B sourcing initiatives. • Analyze current suppliers in the market, alternative suppliers, non-traditional suppliers, and other suppliers. • Assist in preparing accepted and required F&B product standards and communicate the standards with Procurement Administration Department. • Issue F&B purchase requests and send to Procurement Administration Department after getting the required approval from the Food and Beverage Manager. • Coordinate with the Procurement Administration Department on conducting analysis on each supplier, evaluating pros and cons of all suppliers in each market segment and preparing comprehensive report including items such as a) Cost/Price associate with each supplier, b) Benefits/Value added of each supplier, c) Capacity, d) Service/Product Quality, e) Past experience with each, if any, f) Reputation, g) Past/Present clients, etc. • Analyze trends and competition affecting the market place such as key industry players, commodity prices, and government regulations. • Develop forecasting models for future spending trends for all goods and services by category, location, business unit, product specification, and price. • Support the Food and Beverage manager in preparation of F&B annual budget for the entire cinema chain. Requirements To source for the vendors for our F&B, prepare LPO based on the Cinema requisition and posting of invoices • 2 years of experience in F&B, Cost & quality control • Knowledge in food hygiene • Excellent communication skills • Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in similar field.
