Dubai -Job Purpose: To study the Tender Specification, Drawings and Equipment Schedules and estimate the project cost of HVAC systems required for the project's building(s). Should be relevant to the job being described and will include such things as Annual Operating Expenses Annual Capital Expenditure Value of Assets Managed Annual Revenue Annual Gross or net Margin Number of employees reporting to the position and the overall total employees for which the position may be responsible: Depends on the Project Scope Number of locations for which the position is responsible Principal Accountabilities 1) Study the received Tender Specification, Drawings and Equipment Schedules in relation to HVAC _ systems so that the scope is well understood ~~.---- 2) Prepare guidelines for the scope of work and responsibilities that are included in the Tender Documents 3) Obtain and review quotations for all HVACEquipment and material other than the fixed rate items 4) Maintain a database for cost price lists for HVACtypical material and labour man hours cost. 5) Prepare in coordination with the quantity surveyors lists ofthe measured quantities for all HVAC material included in the Tender Documents 6) Prepare and obtain clarifications on the Tender (HVAC)conflicts or on items of incomplete information from the consultant 7) Prepare the cost list for all material, required specialists system, 3rd party inspection, Tests, Engineering and Labour cost in relation to HVAC 8) Complete the Tender Cost for HVACSystem using the Department forms and save all data to the system network 9) Discussthe completed costing work, the Tender HVACScope of Work and responsibilities with the Estimation Manager 10) Complete the schedules of quantities (BOQ)for HVACworks as directed by the Estimation Manager incorporating the indirect cost and margins Minimum Requirement Minimum educational, professional and vocation qualification required - BSCof Engineering Degree of Education from a recognized University in Mechanical Engineering. 3 - 5 years experience with medium organizations in estimation of similar jobs with some experience as Site / Project HVACEngineer.
