Dubai -Job Description Candidates with Mechanical Engineering Degree/Diploma from a reputed institution with a minimum 3 years of experience in GCC in similar position and responsibilities may apply. Candidates should hold valid UAE driving license. Inspect vehicles frequently to ensure compliance with safety standards. Update vehicle preventative maintenance schedule (oil change, tire rotation) Update mileage, usage, alternative transportation, vehicle and other related reports and records. Ensure awareness to driving regarding RTA and UAE traffic policies and laws related to transportation. Coordinate with sites and ensure timely allocation of plant tools and vehicles. Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to prioritize, manage time and organize Allocate and supervise the day-to-day activities of the drivers and supervisors. Consult with plant head on daily operations/ staff allocation matters. Complete performance evaluation of all the staff transportation (driver, operators etc) at an interval of six months. Implement appropriate/ approved employee disciplinary action as directed. Follow up and arrange annual RTA renewal of the vehicle and equipments. Maintain all records related to insurance, traffic fine, non-confirmation reports, vehicle registration, incidents etc. Follow up for the management cars i.e. maintenance,servicing, accident repair, renewal etc. Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports (driver trips, staffing numbers) Professionalism at all times Proficient in data processing/ management (Outlook, word, excel, powerpoint) Flexibility with schedule and work duties. Ability to work alone and with a team. Other duties as assigned (I.e Arrangement of spare parts, quotations, negotiations with suppliers for parts, etc.) Update records of annual leave schedule of the drivers/operators. Follow-up for accident repairs/ dealing with insurance companies for claims.
