Dubai -AED2,200 - AED2,500 a monthWe are looking for Life guard with below skills..Physically fit and able to work long hours in an outside environment are essentials.Qualified with current and valid lifeguard and first aid certificate.Ability to pass pre-employment practical skills test in the water.Good oral and communication skills in English.Basic computer operation skills are an advantage.1 to 2 years hotel or club experience as a life guard.Practical skills to operate the swimming pool equipment.Observational skills and attention to detail.Education: High School or Diploma holder.Job Description: Maintain continuous surveillance of the guests in swimming pool.Call out warnings to the guests who may in imminent danger.Provide safety information to the guests.Supervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safety protocols.Proactively identify hazards or potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents.Control and report unruly behavior and evict individuals not adhering to behavior protocols.Immediately provide rescue in the event of drowning or swimming incidents.Ensure that all pool equipment is stored safely and that any lost items are kept in a safe place.Evacuate the guests from the swimming pool in case of fire or any other emergencies.Provide emergency care and treatment as required (first aid and CPR) until the arrival of emergency medical services.Follow company policies and procedures at all times and proper grooming and personal appearance to be maintained.Regularly check the temperature of the pool to ensure they are at set standard.Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.Use swimming pool vacuum cleaners to clean the pool floor.Use a telescopic pole with net to clean and remove any leafs or papers.Update information board (at the entrance of the swimming pool) about water temperature and the chemical concentration .etc.Perform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygiene.Check safety of rescue tubes and buoys and perform needed maintenance.Maintain accurate records of pool use and chemical levels.Maintain the pool pumps and filters.Store hazardous chemicals attentively.Maintains manual or automated records of all activities and prepares daily & weekly reports.Operates and inspects tools and equipment and makes minor adjustments and repairs.Reporting equipment faults or water quality problems to the manager on duty.Responding to water hygiene incidents.Ensure a safe workout and keep the fitness floor clean and make sure all weights are in their proper place.Be able to answer basic fitness questions and have extensive knowledge of the equipment and proper workout technique.Ensure that all the equipment is clean.Enforce all hotel policies and procedures, such as proper dress code for all users. etc.Report any incident of injury, theft, or broken equipment to the Supervisor on duty.Ensure that the gym amenities water, towels and music on.Ensure that the TV works on (BBC, MTV or Sports) channels only unless changed by guests.To be present permanently on pool during the duty hours and maintain continuous surveillance on swimming pool.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: AED2,200.00 to AED2,500.00 /monthExperience:hotel/hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)
