Dubai -Regional Product, Pricing and Underwriting Manager - P&C Retail (19000CT0) PRIMARY LOCATION : UNITED ARAB EMIRATES-UNITED ARAB EMIRATES-Dubai - ORGANIZATION : AXA Gulf CONTRACT TYPE : Regular SHIFT : Day Job SCHEDULE : Full-time DESCRIPTION Job Purpose: To assist with the product generation, the underwriting procedures and the systematic implementation of retail products. To be the key owner of the system data to ensure consistency of the system with up-to-date data population. Main Responsibilities: Maintenance of the Arabic policy wordings to ensure compliance with the Authorities throughout the region; Arabic and English product training - responsibility for both the literature and the physical delivery of the education; Assist in developing and implementing new products and scheme plus existing product changes and will closely monitor the success of all of the products and schemes implemented; To be a key contact point between the Marketing and Product team to take full responsibility of the marketing collaterals' Arabic technical content and layout; Day to day maintenance of the system master data so all systems are updated in a timely manner; To assist with the day to day underwriting as a point of referral as well as assisting on the system; Contributing to both local and regional audits across the retail portfolio; Take charge of any market analysis on pricing and product features in order to ensure our products are well positioned in the market; Maintain a strong relationship with the broker channel, assisting with day to day enquiries as and when they come in; QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years' experience in Insurance, underwriting preferred; Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic; Knowledge of P&C retail lines of business; Strong presentation and communication skills; Ability to collaborate with multiple departments; Good IT and Excel skills; ACII and similar qualifications will be given preference; ABOUT AXA At AXA, we support millions of people around the world by protecting them, their families, belongings, assets, businesses and their future.
