Dubai -Regional Product, Pricing and Underwriting Manager - P&C Retail (19000CT0) PRIMARY LOCATION : UNITED ARAB EMIRATES-UNITED ARAB EMIRATES-Dubai - ORGANIZATION : AXA Gulf CONTRACT TYPE : Regular SHIFT : Day Job SCHEDULE : Full-time DESCRIPTION Job Purpose: To assist with the product generation, the underwriting procedures and the systematic implementation of retail products. To be the key owner of the system data to ensure consistency of the system with up-to-date data population. Main Responsibilities: Maintenance of the Arabic policy wordings to ensure compliance with the Authorities throughout the region; Arabic and English product training - responsibility for both the literature and the physical delivery of the education; Assist in developing and implementing new products and scheme plus existing product changes and will closely monitor the success of all of the products and schemes implemented; To be a key contact point between the Marketing and Product team to take full responsibility of the marketing collaterals' Arabic technical content and layout; Day to day maintenance of the system master data so all systems are updated in a timely manner; To assist with the day to day underwriting as a point of referral as well as assisting on the system; Contributing to both local and regional audits across the retail portfolio; Take charge of any market analysis on pricing and product features in order to ensure our products are well positioned in the market; Maintain a strong relationship with the broker channel, assisting with day to day enquiries as and when they come in; QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years' experience in Insurance, underwriting preferred; Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic; Knowledge of P&C retail lines of business; Strong presentation and communication skills; Ability to collaborate with multiple departments; Good IT and Excel skills; ACII and similar qualifications will be given preference; ABOUT AXA At AXA, we support millions of people around the world by protecting them, their families, belongings, assets, businesses and their future. Dubai -Primary Objective: To provide efficient and timely administrative support to HR Department implementing HR policy/strategies supporting the business and growth objectives for Gulf and Levant region. Responsibilities: Recruitment& Selection Assist HR Manager with recruitment and induction activities, namely: Preparation of recruitment templates Drafting employment offers Preparation of induction material as needed Assist employees in visa renewals / issues Compensation & Benefits Assist HR Manager in the processing of payroll changes, namely preparation of salary review forms, liaison and follow up with Accounts to ensure that payroll actions are carried out in a timely and efficient manner Assist HR Manager with compensation and benefits-related cyclical activities: employee census, salary structures, market surveys, etc Coordinate affiliate’s Award and Recognition Programs (Long Service Award, Excellence Award, etc) Liaison with the medical insurance provider (enrollment of new employees, medical claims etc) Preparation of salary letters, loan letters etc Performance Management Assist HR Manager in coordinating appraisals and tracking their timely completion Tracking goals and growth plans Assist HR Manager in preparation of year-end merit increase and bonus spreadsheets Employee Relations Monitor and maintain employees’ leave records Assist HR Manager in preparation of letters, meeting minutes, internal announcements Keep track of sickness, maternity and other leave records Other HR Administration Sustain the employees’ database with the purpose of providing reports to management on turnover, head count and payroll changes Maintain / update organizational charts Maintain personal files Assist in the organization of training events. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Accounting. A minimum of two to three years in administration role of which at least one in HR or Accounting. Excellent knowledge of Word & Excel Accuracy and solid organizing skills. Experience with payroll processing and various systems.
