Technician Body- Honda Job Description: To achieve budgeted sales, Gross margin and Net Profit for the parts centre under area of responsibility by following dealer standards and through Customer satisfaction Key Responsibilities: Analyse past trends, prevalent market conditions, demand & supply ratio, current and expected vehicle park, sales per unit in operation, and product availability, to provide accurate budget inputs in these areas to the National Parts Manager for compilation with the consolidated Parts budget Demonstrate leadership in managing operations and staff, measured by favourable staff and customer feedback and performance. To maintain the operations and warehouse as per principal standards, follow the 7s storage techniques, 5s principles, enforces adequate safety requirements and trainings. To procure and maintain an appropriate range and depth of spare parts and accessories, to retain a Service Ratio of +95%, within the constraints of budgeted inventory levels. To utilise the company provided information systems (DMS, MS Office) to exercise appropriate controls and maximise the efficiency of the operation. Ensure accurate and timely dispatch and invoicing of Orders to achieve daily / weekly targets. Effectively follow the Parts Reminder Process and ensure timely actions are initiated to improve conversion rates for Quotations. Effectively use Parts Recommendation Template to improve stock-keeping at Dealers / Resellers / Garages as per demand. Conduct periodic and perpetual review and evaluation of inventory, support buy-back to PDH and review Sales Order stock in order to have an accurate and minimal inventory with maximum turnover. Review VOR orders and ensure timely consumption as and when goods arrive. Target new and existing customers to optimize the brand penetration in the targeted customer group. Prepare weekly and monthly visit plans. Ensure Kaizen principles are followed to improve safety and efficiencies in daily operations and such improvements are recorded and circulated to all locations in a monthly report. Ensure QHSE management system requirements and SOPs are implemented in the area of responsibility Ensure customer/associate engagement is enhanced and ensure customer complaints are resolved through taking necessary actions Follow emergency & evacuation procedure of the company Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Qualifications: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering & MBA (Finance & Marketing) Experience: 5 years in procurement, Inventory Management of automotive spare parts & accessories, with minimum 3 years at a Managerial Level. Special Job Knowledge/Skills: Technology driven procurement, inventory, warehousing & distribution, kaizen, 5S principle, customer care and techno commercial skills.
