The Unit Manager leads and manages the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experience. In addition, the Unit Manager will also be responsible for the below; Growing the maternity services through the provision of patient-related programmes (e.g. antenatal programmes, maternity tours etc.) Cost control Management of Unit KPIs To qualify for the role, you must have at least five years nursing management experience in a maternity (antenatal, L&D, postnatal) unit environment.
