We have an immediate opening for an experienced Sales Manager to join our growing team in the UAE. The Sales Manager shall manage the Middle East Sales operations and will report to the Global Sales Director. Our ideal candidate is business development professional who also has a strong technical foundation in Business Intelligence and/or Strategy Management consultancy with 5 years’ experience in a high-tech/software sales role. Core Functions: Manage an assigned territory for sales of consultancy, training and licenses to meet personal sales quota; Work closely with Sales Team in Middle East and Global Sales Director on growth objectives in order to maximize revenue; Cover end to end account management during the sales cycle (pipeline management, qualification, presales, proposal preparation, negotiation and closure) as well as high level project execution (periodic follow ups and escalations); Actively engage with Middle East management team to develop new solutions and go-to-market strategies in line with Clariba’s growth strategy. Job Responsibilities: Generate Net New Names for UAE region and manage customer renewals; Qualify prospects and then decide on best approach; Perform end-to-end sales activities on target accounts and negotiate sales price and discounts; Coordinate and select proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results; Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams for assigned territory and work in close collaboration with Global Sales Director and Global Operations Director to provide input and guidance on resourcing needs for committed projects; Work closely with SAP and other Clariba partners to identify target markets, go-to-market strategies, marketing campaigns and sales execution with partner account executives, sales specialists and inside sales teams; Support the development of specific go to market plans to ensure revenue growth in Clariba’s solutions and prepackaged products and interpret short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit; Collaborate with Marketing to develop brand and demand generation campaigns for Clariba’s core markets and actively participate in their execution. Required Skills & Experience: 5 years of Business Intelligence software sales experience in the Gulf region; Proven sales record (80% quota achieved per year) Ideally a technical background in Engineering or IT, or a business background with the ability to learn and explain technical concepts with ease; Ability to create demos/POCs (with technical colleagues) based on customer requirements; Experience developing proposals for consultancy services and license sales for both Large Enterprise and Large SME customers; Strong functional understanding of line of business processes (Finance, HR, Procurement, Marketing, etc.) as well as multiple industry specific processes Required Competencies: Creativity and innovation; Excellent presentation and demonstration skills; Ability to communicate comfortably with C-level executives and IT Decision makers; Ability to handle objections with confidence and negotiate a positive outcome; Operate at a fluent level of written & verbal English (fluency in Arabic is nice to have) Ability to make decisions and take appropriate actions in order to achieve sales targets; Multi-tasking, coordinating multiple new opportunities and renewals throughout sales cycle; Self-learner, interest and ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
