Specialisation in a fitness discipline is preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial fitness environment, or professional sports coaching facility with exposure to leadership responsibilities/duties. Previous experience in Fitness & Wellness operations within a 5-star hotel is advantageous. Advanced knowledge of fitness training principles and ability to apply within a gym-based environment Ability to gain the required annual CPD’s, to maintain REP’s certification and keep up-to-date with latest fitness trends/knowledge. Ability to deliver regular product knowledge/team training to maintain highest standards. Effectively develop/manage staff rota to ensure operational hours are covered and member/guest service is unaffected. Strong knowledge on gym safety standards and required maintenance procedures.
