Dubai -Job Description The Director, Merchant Marketing & Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing Visa’s merchant marketing programs, strategic marketing partnerships and campaigns to support the MENA marketing strategy and collaborates with the broader MENA business in driving effective business outcomes for Visa. This role reports into the Head of Marketing MENA Responsibilities Demonstrates strong expertise in merchant marketing, partnerships marketing negotiation and programs. Leads the development and implementation of marketing programs for strategic marketing partnerships with strategic MENA merchant partners. Responsible for the development and execution of Visa and Key client marketing plans in Partnership with the Merchant Client team. Supports the focus on driving improvements in Merchant Net promoter score through strong outcomes of these plans. Working with our agencies to develop relevant merchant marketing campaign materials for promoting Visa merchant offerings via relevant channels Liaising with MS&A and client marketing team on campaign deliverables; develop and execute templates and communications for issuers to use for Visa merchant initiatives as relevant Works with Head of Marketing and Client Marketing leads to ensure goal achievement and ROI from Visa investment in merchant partnerships by designing and refining most appropriate investment and timeline Proactively educates the Visa business on market developments and merchant partner opportunities Qualifications Experience and Qualifications Minimum 10 years industry marketing experience in either Franchise sales management, FMCG, Leading Retail brands or similar roles. Strong negotiation and influencing skills aimed at driving a win-win within all complaiance requirements of the business environment Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional relationships, building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, negotiation skills, strong communication skills, customer centric and proven to deliver tangible outcomes aligned to business strategies. Experience in marketing major retail brand and demonstrated brand management skills Education: Bachelor or business/marketing or related field with marketing foundation; MBA a plus. Demonstrated track-record of planning, managing marketing initiative launches, marketing partnerships (including experiential activities), managing agency partners and 3rd party vendors. Strong project management skills focusing on quality of execution, delivery and compliance. Strong business sense and ownership with focus on measurable results. Good understanding of MENA issuing banks and key merchants with ability to execute B2B comms to drive B2C will be an added advantage. Demonstrated track record of analytical skills and data led strategy formulation. Excellent time management skills and an ability to achieve goals with minimal management oversight.
