HR Generalist - 6 month Contract - -Dubai
Dubai -Full-time, ContractWe are looking for a junior HR Generalist to support the team for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. Education requirements: Diploma in Human Resources/ Business Management. Degree holder preferred Work experience requirements : Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Recruitment, Employee relations and/or HR operations Major duties and responsibilities Employee Relations: — Ensure HR processes pertaining to employee lifecycle are clearly communicated and completed by employees & managers on behalf of HR Operations limited to but not including: — Probation Process- ensure managers & employees complete probation review on time and record meetings had with each of their mentee’s. — Transfer documentation- prepare employee transfer documentations and oversee transfer process internal and external employee transfers and relay information to HR operations team. — Record updating- provide assistance in preparing quarterly quality control checks for annual review data, and ensure that employee information is correctly reflected within the HR system. — Disciplinary warnings- Assist in employee performance management/ disciplinary meetings at the request of the HRBP. — Deactivation leavers- ensure that all documents related to employee leaving the firm are finalized and collected as per KPMG exit policy and process. — Liaise with HR Operations team on any changes/ issues related to the HR system and day to day functionality. — Act as the point of contact on any employee queries on self-service processes, escalate any issues and troubleshooting to HR Operations Team. Recruitment & On-boarding: — Assist the Talent acquisition team with recruitment activities pertaining to pre-screening and competency based interviewing of candidates for the respective BU where needed. — Prepare all “offer prep” requests on behalf of the HRBP for manager level and below for respective BU (Global Mobility, Interns, Contractors and permanent staff). — Collect all relevant interview and onboarding documentation in line with the recruitment policy leading up to the onboarding stage, acting and the main point of contact for all candidates. — Conduct BU specific inductions for all new joining employees making sure all required joining documents are signed and agreed to by new joiners. (Code of Conduct, Risk Policies and Confidentiality of undertaking is signed and understood) — Ensure new joiner information is sent to relevant stakeholders prior to and upon employee joining to allow for swift integration into the firm. (Medical Insurance, registration, employee ID Cards, company IT Equipment etc.) — Responsible for creating new joiner communications (new joiner announcements) for respective business unit across the LG region.
