Dubai -Inventory Controller Job SummaryWe are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible inventory controller to join our growing team. In this position, you will manage inventory through the use of a computerized database system. Your primary objective will be to maintain adequate levels of stock to meet daily distribution demands while minimizing excess supply.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle countsReview documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and recordsDevelop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costsRespond to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipmentReview operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillmentTrack rates of accuracy, purchase, and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisionsNurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as neededCoordinate the package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)Coordinate the unloading of materials from truck or trailorCoordinate the move of materials to warehouse storageCoordinate the move of waste from assembly line to shipRequirements and QualificationsHigh school diplomaMinimum of one year of related experience in retail, wholesale, warehousing, or logisticsProficient with computers and other standard office technologyFamiliarity with SAP enterprise resource planning softwarePhysical ability to lift 10-25 pounds and sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl repeatedlySuperior organizational and communication skillsNice to HaveAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business operations, logistics, mathematics, or related field preferredLean Six Sigma Certification preferredSalary: AED 4,200/monthMedical InsuranceAnnual Return TicketTransportationJob Type: Full-timeSalary: AED4,200.00 /monthExperience:Logistics, inventory controller: 1 year (Preferred)
