Dubai -Department Definition Design and Overlay within the Real Estate and Delivery Division is responsible for the design development for Expo2020 event, including projects for the design, development and delivery of Overlay for the event Opportunity Responsibilities The Overlay Contracts Manager will provide pre and post contract Overlay procurement support and contract management administration to a range of temporary overlay contractors and suppliers. The main responsibilities of this will include: Procurement and commercial management of Overlay contracts pre, during and post the Expo 2020 event; Work with Designers, Operational service streams and Contractors to manage and control contract scope and cost within budget; Support procurement and the production of pricing schedules for tendering, working closely with the Expo 2020 Overlay Procurement and Commercial Managers; Coordinate and/or prepare documentation for tendering and review prior to issue; Tender evaluation, reporting and recommendations liaising with Overlay Procurement; Monitor and record that insurances, bonds, warranties and guarantees are in place; Manage day to day commercial activities of contracts during their post contract phase including agreement of scope change, valuation of works completed, milestone payments, cash flow forecasts and recommend final accounts on completion; Regular financial reporting of contract costs versus budget, liaising with the Commercial team and identifying cost impacts of design scope changes, anticipated changes and design / delivery risks; Supporting the Overlay contracts team in coordinating the timely commercial delivery to ensure the success of the project; Liaise with Overlay Commercial to provide all relevant contract cost date for incorporation into the monthly Overlay Cost Report.
