Dubai -About the Role Your main responsibilities will include: To set up, operate, maintain and repair equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting and sound mixing equipment. Setup A/V equipment for meetings and various functions around the school. Troubleshooting A/V equipment when there are technical questions or problems related to A/V equipment and identifying appropriate solutions. Serve as on-sight A/V support for events that take place in the academy. Perform preventative maintenance on television, cameras/professional video and audiovisual equipment. Schedule and documents bi-monthly routine maintenance on all assigned AV systems equipment. This position reports to the Manager of school operations About You A Bachelor's Degree in College Degree in Computer Science or Audio Visual Technology (or related subject), with a minimum of two years experience in a similar position with hands on experience or as an AV technician is a standard requirement. Be fluent in English with communication skills and excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Enjoy problem solving, work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines and execute in a timely manner.
