Dubai -The HR Specialist – People’s support will be responsible to undertake all the cycle of the employee’s journey, from the moment the candidate accepts the offer all across their journey within the organization. The HR Specialist responsibilities includes welcome the new joiner, organize the induction, systems enrollment, benefits’, preparation of salary certificates, L&D coordination, engagement activities, etc. Ultimately, the HR Specialist will be responsible to ensure a positive employee experience and being the main point of contact for any employee’s queries. Onboarding Initiate the onboarding process once the candidates accept the offers New joiner’s documentation process including of welcome note Coordinate with the PRO the visa & labor card application Create employees in the different portals used by Canon Enrollment and administration of staff’ benefits: Life, medical insurance Arrange the joining logistics with all the stationary and company assests Ensure the new joiner has all the right access to the systems such as: QlikView, Shared folders, Orion, etc Sending New joiners’ information email to all colleagues Create and maintain employee’s files and records in electronic and paper form Induction Prepare and organize induction plan along with the HRBP Calendarize the respective individuals Receive the new joiner and do the office tour Ensure the induction plan is follow Send online feedback form to the new joiners Fix feedback session with the Sr. Regional HRM Send the Feedback Form to the Sr. Regional HRM L&D Coordinate L&D logistics activities events, sessions, enrollment of delegates in the Development Hub Coordinate along with HRBP the employees’ recognitions awards & activities: Canon Awards, Long Service Awards, Team Buildings, etc (Quarterly Data Collection, Yammer voting, etc) Arrange venues, invitations Off Boarding End of employment Checklist Check with Finance any pending dues Coordinate with the PRO the cancelations, visa transfers Cancellation of Medical Insurance Admin Coordinate with PRO the renewals of parking cards, trade licenses, PO Box and other TECOM related documents Coordinate with procurement annual renewals of property insurances: 3rd party liability, all risk policy, Certificate of Good Standing (Legal) Others General People’s support Any other adhoc requirement that arises What we ask We need people who can achieve the exceptional by working collaboratively, who have the courage to risk new ways of doing things and the ability to see the world the way their customers see it. Dubai -Play Your Part The Reservation Agent ensures the smooth and efficient reservation process and provides service excellence to all enquiries over the phone and by email. Main Responsibilities: Work accurately according to reservation procedures, resulting in excellent inventory management, statistics and minimal no shows & denials. Apply the day to day function of the hotel reservations and call centre. Maintain consistent telephone standards incl for cluster services between Parks and Hotel. Be pro-active in ensuring enquiries are attended to promptly and in a professional manner, ensuring optimum conversion. Promote the company vision and values when dealing with both internal & external customers. Build excellent internal and external customer relationships by delivering a professional and dedicated service. Assist with departmental risk assessments and ensure they are carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees are aware of Group Health & Safety policy and their obligations under it. Business Impact / Results: Assist with the optimization of hotel rooms revenue through service excellence. To proactively support in achieving targets set for hotel bedroom sales. Follow the pricing strategies for the hotel to optimise yield opportunities through upsell product and services. Complexity and Problem Solving: Managing over-sell of room types without impact to guest experience Resolving overbooked/book out situations including re-housing of guests/groups Rate discrepancies with package bookings, group bookings and negotiated accounts Customer feedback and complaint resolution Health & Safety: Managers/Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their department, in line with the Group Policy (HS001).
