About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter / Waitress to join Food & Beverage Service team in Madinat Jumeirah. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are: To confidently serve customers as per the brand standards Looks for ways to go above and beyond the guests' expectations Have a full understanding and can explain when asked the brand concept, history and vision Completed basic food hygiene and work in a safe and hygienic manner at all times Communicate any out of stock items to manager or team leader. Also when stocks are running low Communicate to managers any issues immediately Actively engage with colleagues and customers at all times Make simple decisions that affect work or guest's experience in a positive manner Have very good product knowledge and is able to confidently describe food and beverage items to a guest Can confidently take a guest's food & beverage order and ask all relevant questions where necessary Ensure that all side duties and cleaning schedules are completed as per daily checklists Complete all checklist as required daily , weekly and monthly for the outlet Can run food and communicate with the kitchen with confidence Can accommodate and pack take away orders as per the brand standard About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Previous experience in food & beverage services Work well in a team but is also able to set standards and lead by example at all times.
